I really like Toyota as a company and love my RAV4 but in my place of life right not money decides not the heart. Go with the corrolla. RAV4 Hybrid. It's physically shorter by a couple of inches front to back than the Corolla, which makes maneuvering in the city easier. The suspension will handle bad roads better than the Corolla. It's much quieter and doesn't give much up on MPG to the Corolla. It'll be a much less tiring drive. On the other hand, the CR-V is quieter, has better interior, lane centering, audio system, driving feel, mechanical AWD, and has much more space inside. The CR-V will also probably not have the dealer markup Toyotas do as well. As far as the power goes, the CR-V hybrid has about 80 more lb-ft of torque than the RAV4 hybrid has.
